iSOFT wins $10m service contract extension from UK

Health IT company iSOFT has announced it has secured a £6 million ($9.8 million) contract extension from the Shared Business Services division of the UK’s National Health Service (NHS).

The contract covers the supply of iSOFT’s Oracle finance and purchasing applications for an additional two years.

It expends the range of services offered and includes the installation of new hardware and Oracle Release 12. But the contract covers services only, and does not include licenses, iSOFT said.

iSOFT has been supplying the unit with business services since 2002.
