Sage launches ERP suite

Business management software supplier Sage has launched a new enterprise resource planning (ERP) product, Sage ERP X3, its first offering for the ANZ upper mid-market.

The suite has been designed for organizations with between 100 and 1,000 employees. It includes financial, distribution and manufacturing management capabilities.

The web-enabled application also boasts business intelligence and data analysis capabilities.

“Australian and New Zealand businesses with 200 or more employees are the best positioned to capitalise on the current strong economy and overseas growth opportunities,” Sage Business Solutions managing director Mike Lorge said.

Sage also announced it had signed up its first customer for the new suite, Brisbane-based mining company Discovery Metals Limited (ASX:DML).
