Telstra signs four-year deal with Bendigo IPTv

Telstra (ASX:TLS) has signed a four year deal with Bendigo IPTv to provide local community television content via Telstra's IPTV service BigPond TV.

Under the agreement, Telstra will provide Bendigo IPTv's locally-produced programs unmetered via Telstra's BigPond portal.

The content will also soon be available on Telstra's T-Box internet entertainment console.

“This is a landmark agreement for Telstra and one which has the very real potential to be replicated in other major regional Australian areas,” Telstra CountryWide area general manager Margaret O'Rourke said.
