UXC wins multi-million dollar Gorgon deal

Business solutions company UXC (ASX:UXC) has announced that its voice and data unit Integ has secured a deal to provide entertainment services to the Gorgon natural gas project.

Under the agreement, Integ will supply a suite of services including video-on-demand TV, video gaming, internet, radio and an outdoor movie theatre to Construction Village, the housing complex set up by the Chevron-operated Gorgon project.

The contract was awarded by Kentz, the nominated telecoms and electronics contractor to Chevron Australia.

The deal is a multi-million dollar contract, UXC said without disclosing specific terms.
