Software and services company Oakton Limited (ASX:OKN) has filed suit against Tenix Solutions in Victoria’s Supreme Court, seeking $12 million in damages.
Oakton, which has initiated the lawsuit through subsidiary Oakton Services, alleges that Tenix improperly revoked a subcontract to design software for an information management and enforcement system Tenix is developing.
The damages claim includes the $8.5 million value of the contract, as well as delay and working claims costs, legal fees and interest.
Tenix is developing the infringement management system for the state of Victoria.
