ICT vendor Nexbis (ASX:NBS) has announced it was not selected for a US$1.05 million ($1.25 million) tender to become the system integrator for Vietnam’s Road Safety project.

The company had submitted an offer to provide hardware and maintenance to Vietnam’s Vehicle Registration Department as part of the project.

But Nexbis said the system integrator project was not significant in terms of potential revenue contribution, and does not preclude the company for participating in other parts of the project.

In addition, participating in the process has given Nexbis an opportunity to introduce its technology to Vietnamese officials, the company added.
